One week from tonight, we fuzz up Dr. Jeckyll’s Beer Lab in beautiful Pantego TX with Oblong Cassidy and His Space Horse, and Sorry 4 Swearing. It’s gonna be a fun show. There will be air conditioning. There may be swearing. There will be no apologies.
The order for vinyl and CDs of our new eight-song album has been placed. We’re hoping for a release late this year. Stay tuned!
Side 1: Cinnamon Sea. Jazz Wives. Climax Aurora Has a Seaside Disease. Your Call is Not That Important.
Side 1: An Amorous History of Paper Airplanes. When Lawn Darts Are Outlawed Only Outlaws Will Have Lawn Darts.* Pigment of My Imagination. Shy Ann from Laramie. *Featuring The National LawnDart Association (Mandy Hand and Clint Niosi).
Recorded and Mixed by Clint Niosi at Orange Otter Audio, Fort Worth TX. Mastered by Stephen Finley at Sugar Hill Recording Studios, Houston TX. Cover Art by Maren Farmer.
We’re laying low for the month of August (finishing the mastering of our next album, getting vinyl and CDs ordered, taking a couple of vacation trips, and resting up for the new school year), but we’ll be back making loud noises again in less than a month.
Saturday September 2, we’re fuzzing up Dr Jeckyll’s Beer Lab in Pantego (after a pregame meal at 2 Compas) with our friends Oblong Cassidy and His Space Horse, and Sorry 4 Swearing. It’s gonna be a fun show, so come early and stay late!
Today, Bandcamp waives its fees, and 100% of sales go to the artists.

To help raise funds, we’re having a sale on anything in our Bandcamp store until the next Bandcamp Friday (September 1st). 20% off. Just enter the following code at checkout:

Next up, we’re sliding into Dallas at the Deep Ellum Art Company, supporting Emily Davis (on tour from El Paso), with Bethnie Rose Band (from Dallas). Doors at 7:00. Music at 7:45. I think we’re playing last, probably around 9:30 or so. Should be wrapped up in time to get folks home a bit after 11:00 on a weeknight. It’s gonna be a good time. Brought to you by Happy Nomad Booking and Deep Ellum Art Company.
It’s been a while since we went live on the evil lord zuck’s platform, so we’re gonna hop on the internet Sunday June 25 at 8 PM Central for an hour or so of live music, complete with audience heckling from the comments. You know the drill. Log in. Rock out. https://www.facebook.com/prof.fuzz63
Saturday night, 10 June 2023, we’re back on our bullshit. This time, our second time around at The Cicada. We love the new vibe of the room, and last time we played there, the sound was the best we’ve ever sounded in that room (and that’s a very high bar given the house engineer of the venue that previously occupied the space!). Tyler and John are awesome too. So, yeah, we’re really looking forward to it on the merits of the venue alone.
But… add to that, we’re beyond psyched to be the stage with our scary monster pals from OKC, Fire Bad! Monster Lock and Loll, or something like that. If you haven’t seen them before, see them now! Closing out the night will be Space Poets, with ambient psych sounds to send you into Sunday…
We’re playing first, at 9:00, followed by Fire Bad!, and then Space Poets. Come early. Stay late. Have fun.
So, yeah. We finally got around to doing the full digital distro of our “Peaches & Herbicide” album and “Cinnamon Sea EP.” If you like to stream your music from Apple Music/iTunes, you can just hit the links below.
Friday June 2nd. Acadia Bar & Grill. Houston. We’re playing late, following Omero + More!, Strange Waves, and Garden Pary! Doors at 8. Music at 8:30. $12 for 21+. $17 for under 21.
We’re making a Memorial Day weekend roadtrip to Memphis, and our fossil footprint is your gain!
Friday May 26, we’ll fuzz up Lamplighter with The Klitz Sisters and Yesterday’s Trash. Then, on Saturday May 27 we’re crashing a wedding… Tell your friends! https://www.facebook.com/events/760504239128473
Big weekend coming up. First, on Saturday, we’re heading back to Orange Otter Audio in Fort Worth to track the second side of what will be the “Cinnamon Sea LP,” with the four tracks we recorded there last fall and released as “Cinnamon Sea EP” constituting the first side of the LP. Stay tuned for “An Amorous History of Paper Airplanes,” “When Lawn Darts Are Outlawed Only Outlaws Will Have Lawn Darts,” “Pigment of My Imagination,” and “Shy Ann from Laramie”!
Then, on Sunday, we’re playing at GROWL Records in Arlington with soul-gaze legends The Veldt, and Dead Leaf Echo. Early start (7 PM) and we play first. And just for the hell of it, we’ll be playing all of the songs from the aforementioned “Cinnamon Sea LP.”
We’re playing our 300th show on Saturday at Cave’s Lounge in Arlington, with Big Heaven, who are celebrating the release of a new EP. We kick things off at 9 PM.
Next up is a return to the Hippie Hole House in Denton TX for a good old fashioned house show! Saturday May 6th. We’ll be joined by +More, Shadylyn, Dayblazer, and Garden Party. Doors at 6. Music at 6:30. $5. Message us for the address!
Saturday April 15 we return to Bohemeo’s in Houston for an early night of rawk with friends Darwin’s Finches and 500 Megatons of Boogie. Music starts at 7 PM. $5 gets you in.
Oh hey! This Saturday we make our first appearance at The Cicada in Fort Worth with friends The Me-Thinks, and Slothfist! It’s gonna be a LOUD one! We kick things off at 9. 1002 S Main. Fort Worth TX https://www.facebook.com/events/968999100931538
Saturday night’s gonna be a little different… We return to our favorite Beer Lab to play with friends Clint Niosi (the engineer behind the desk at Orange Otter Audio who recorded and mixed our Cinnamon Sea EP), Ben Ricketts (rock and roll LEGEND from Memphis!), and DARSTAR (purveyors of post-grunge LOUDNESS).
The Redhead has to go out of town for a family matter, but The Professor and Mr B will take the stage to play the best of LANDMIME! (ft. Ben Ricketts Exists). Don’t miss this tip of the black beret to one of our favorite [fake] bands! Everyone will be talking about it on Sunday, trust us…
On this date, PF63 played a fucking trainwreck of a show at The Underpass in Deep Ellum.
It was so bad, The Professor and The Redhead considered pulling the plug on the band. Instead, they fired the drummer. Mr B came out of percussive retirement a few days later, and some 280 shows later, we’re still going strong.
Four new songs in the works (Side 2 of Cinnamon Sea LP). Recording session booked for mid-May. Hopefully we’ll be mixed, mastered, and in the queue for vinyl pressing by mid-summer, with an album release late this year.
Next up is Dr. Jeckyll’s Beer Lab in Pantego TX with Telekhines and Big Heaven. This Saturday (20230218)! We kick things off at 8 sharp! $10. https://www.facebook.com/events/665483058657421
